First things first, HAPPY 4th OF JULY 2017! Today, I’m sharing the first edition of the blogs I love series!
I love living in America and I’m so grateful to every man and woman who has served in the US Military! Thank you so much for your service. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be able to live the life I’m living now. If you are in the US Military or served in it before, comment below, I’d love to thank you personally.
To inspire me to write on here more, I read a lot of other blogs. Today, I’m going to share some of them. I hope someday that this blog can be like them. I’m thinking about making this maybe a monthly series: Sharing all the blogs that I’ve discovered and been loving over the past month.
Tara Michelle from I’m Tara Michelle.com
is one of my favorite Bloggers and YouTubers of all time! Her blog is full of adorable outfit inspiration, recipes, advice, and tons of travel tips and destinations to go to! Her post Best Places to Eat and Instagram In Chicago really makes me want to visit Chicago someday! Seriously, all the food and restaurants were absolutely adorable! Her Main YouTube Channel – Tara Michelle, is incredible! I love watching her videos to get inspiration for outfits, makeup, and to learn hacks to make life easier! But, as much as I love her main channel. Her Vlog Channel Tara Michelle Vlogs is one of my favorite vlog channels to watch! I love how positive and happy she is about life. Also, if you’re looking for a sugar fix, her blog post with Unicorn Recipes is just the thing!
Brighton Keller from Brighton the Day.com is probably my new favorite blog! Also, that name is so freaking creative! I love it! Her outfit idea posts are so helpful. I love how she links every piece of clothing that she wears so that other people can match her style easily! This Fourth of July Outfit idea is so cute! I love how she mixed the blue and white skirt and shirt ensemble with the pops of red. I’m also totally into her tips on Styling Clean Vs. Dirty Hair. I don’t wash my hair every day (I’m lazy and it’s healthier for it.) The ideas she gives here are very helpful. Like her, I’m obsessed with dry shampoo. Albeit, (I’m starting to notice I use this word a lot…) I don’t use dry shampoo every day. Most days I don’t really leave the house (I’m literally a hermit.) I usually just put my hair up and be done with it. My go-to hairstyles right now are either a simple ponytail or dutch braided pigtails. I love doing the pigtails because they keep my hair out of my face so well. But, they make me look like I’m 12… #TheAgeStruggleIsReal.
International Travel Couple Michal and Claudia from Part Time Travelers.com are couple goals! Their blog about their travels is adorable, inspirational, and makes me want to travel everywhere! Their post 55 Photos That Will Make You Drop Everything and Travel to Angkor in Cambodia really makes me want to travel to Cambodia! Their pictures are awesome and the temples are stunning!
Chelsea from The Girl Who Loved to Write.com is so cute! I love her blog so much. Her posts inspire me to stay positive about life and just enjoy it. Her post A Pep Talk for Your July reminds me to make time for the important things that make me happy. Life is what you make of it. If you don’t take the time to make yourself happy your life is gonna suck.
Lindsey from Pinch of Yum.com has the best recipes! Her recipe for Chopped Salad Pizza looks divine! I want to make it as soon as possible! It combines two of my favorite things, pizza, and salad! Her post 1,000 Miles of Alaska is seriously making me want to travel to Alaska even more! Fun Fact about me, I’ve wanted to travel to Alaska for as long as I can remember. Hopefully, someday I’ll make it. Her recipe for 5 Ingredient Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies looks to die for! I love peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. And, because they don’t have any refined sugar in them is definitely up my alley. (For those of you who don’t know, I’m a little bit of a health freak because of my anxiety. Eating healthy and exercising helps me a lot. I really can’t eat junk food because it really bothers me and sometimes full on triggers me.) I really want to make these cookies soon. Maybe I’ll do a review of the recipe in the future. Comment below if you’d like to read that.
Stephanie from Not Entirely Perfect.com is a very delightful person to read. I love her posts about organizing, Keeping up with life, and her Three on Thursday posts. In her Three on Thursday posts she shares three products that she has loved recently. She recently did a Keeping Up With Life Again post which I absolutely loved! For some reason, I have a love of reading about other people’s day-to-day lives. Do you like reading those? If you do, comment below if I should do them. I’m also totally into her Frugal Date Ideas even though I’m not in a relationship right now. So many of them sound really fun to do with friends. I especially like the idea of going mini golfing and betting on who will win with the loser buying ice cream afterward. (This idea is so freaking cute.)
Aspyn Ovard from Aspyn Ovard.com is another one of my favorite bloggers and YouTubers. Her blog is full of travel pictures, outfit inspiration, and home decor. Her husband Parker Ferris and she take some of the most gorgeous pictures I’ve ever seen! Her post 2 Girls in New York! is charming! I’m in love with her dress, jean jacket, and sneaker combo that she wore! Freaking adorable. Recently, she went on a trip with her mom and younger sister to Britain and Barcelona. Her post Exploring Park Guell seriously makes me want to visit Barcelona! It looks like such a beautiful place. All of Aspyn’s travel posts urge me to work on saving up the money to travel more. A huge dream of mine is to have a travel blog and travel the world and write about it. Also, Aspyn’s YouTube Channel Aspyn Ovard is another of my favorites. (Just a FYI, I watch a lot of YouTube.) Her videos are full of more outfit inspiration, makeup ideas, hacks, and just all together fun videos. Together, her husband Parker and she have a vlog channel Aspyn and Parker and their travel diaries are my favorite. I hope someday I can learn how to make videos like them. Their Iceland Travel Diary is probably one of my all-time favorite videos. It makes me want to visit Iceland so bad! It’s such a gorgeous country! Aspyn and Parker are also like couple goals! I love watching their lives and seeing how much they’ve grown together.
And, that’s all of them for today. I’m going to do more of these posts in the future! Comment below the name of your favorite blog. I’m always looking for more to read!
Have a wonderful 4th of July and don’t light anything important on fire! (Also, it’s totally awesome that we have an entire holiday dedicated to blowing stuff up. 😛 [Just kidding, I know there’s so much more to this holiday than just blowing up fireworks.])
Soli Deo Gloria,
