I love this quote because it reminds me that no matter what problems you have in your life you can still leave a legacy behind. There is no one in the world who can do what you can. For me, the measure of success is, how many people you can inspire and help. I want to share my life and struggles with the world to inspire others to do whatever they want. Nothing is impossible with hard work and dedication. Also, crayons are amazing. I love drawing and coloring. Be the color that this black and white world needs. Leave a beautiful colorful trail behind you.
This is the kind of legacy I want to leave. Money doesn’t really leave a legacy. I want to touch people’s lives. People are what really matters in life. I feel like a big contradiction because I love people and I love helping them but I also love being alone and ignoring people. My biggest goal right now is to help as many different people as I can with my life. God puts people in your life at the right time and for a reason. Just, trust him and it will all work out in the end. Sometimes people are in your life for you to learn a lesson or for you to learn what you don’t want in your life. Sometimes people come in and show you what it’s like to mean something to someone. Life is strange, people are weirder. But God works everything out for a reason. You might not see the reason now but, someday you will. Every struggle and trial in your life is put there to make you a stronger person.
Life is about change. You need to be the change in your life. Work hard to be remarkable and change the world. Don’t just sit around wishing that something will change in the world. Be the change you want to see in the world. If you sit around wishing for things, nothing will ever happen. You have to go out and work for your dreams. Remember also, you learn from failure not from success! The trick is to pick yourself up and figure out what you did wrong. Someday you will figure out what you need to do to make it work. Most of the time the journey is more interesting than the destination. Remember, you are important and you will do remarkable things. It might seem insignificant now, but small steps make a big impact.
The world is going to judge you. Ignore them and do you. Your opinion is the one that really matters. I have nothing against going to others for advice. But, don’t ever forget that at the end of the day, you’re the one has to deal with the consequences. Do the little things that make you happy. If that’s writing graphic crime novels. Or crocheting. Or growing your hair out. Or cutting it all off. It doesn’t matter as long as it makes you happy and doesn’t hurt others.
This also goes the other way. Don’t judge how people are unless you know their story and what they have gone through. Everyone is fighting their own battles and changing. Don’t be afraid of the fight. You will win.
This quote is one I need to remember so much. Gossiping is so easy. But it hurts so many people. All it takes is one misplaced story to change how people think of you. If someone trusts you enough to tell you something important to them, do not turn around and tell it to anyone else. If you need to talk to someone, tell God. Please, keep this in mind. No one likes a two-faced person. Keep in mind, how someone talks to you about others is a big clue in how they talk about you to others. Be careful, some people love to learn our weaknesses to exploit them.

This quote summarizes a lot of what I’ve said in this post. Life is a gift that is only given once. Please don’t ever forget that. Also, remember, life gets better. Please don’t ever consider ending it. There is so much to be happy about and to live for. Please, even if it’s just for me. Don’t consider this. There are always people who care about you. If you don’t believe it, ask. Trust me. It gets better. People make it so much easier. Don’t listen to the voices in your head. Remember, you are not the only person in your life. Every decision you make will impact at least one other person in some way. Think about that person.
People are constantly changing. You can’t change another person. But they can and are changing themselves. Your past doesn’t define who you are today. You have learned so much from yesterday. Remember the lessons. Remember you rarely know the entire story of someone’s past. Don’t try to judge what they’re doing today based on what you learned from someone else that they did two years ago. Just because someone made a bad decision in the past doesn’t mean that they’re a bad person today. Today is a new day. Today is beautiful. Treat everyone with respect and kindness. Sometimes all it takes is one person to change someone’s mind. Be the person who gives everyone else a reason to live.
I absolutely love this quote. There is so much drama that goes on that could be avoided so easily if people would just talk to people and ask them for their reasons. But, remember, no one owes you an explanation for their actions. It was their decision, not yours. Don’t talk about people behind their backs, if you don’t approve of something that they did. Talk to them and learn the reason. People always have a reason. Don’t ever judge a book by its cover. Just because someone made decisions in the past to get tons of tattoos or to dye their hair a crazy color doesn’t give you a right to shun them. People do these things for a reason. Even if that reason is it just makes them happy.
People will always make time for what is important to them. If someone makes you a priority don’t take it for granted. There aren’t many people in the world who are like that. Make people a priority. They are where the memories come from. Someday all you remember are the memories you made with people. You aren’t going to remember the money. The people are what really matters. Cherish them. The people are the one priority that will give back to you directly. If you make money a priority it’s not going to give you anything but greed.

This is so true. Beautiful people are gorgeous on the inside. So incredible that it just flows out of them and touches others. Struggles give you a unique understanding. I’ve learned this from experience. From my struggle with anxiety, I can relate and understand so much about other people. Especially people with mental issues. You’d be surprised how many people out there have struggled in the same way you have. Be the person to others that you needed when you were younger. Living with struggles and not sharing them with others really makes you appreciate the people who listen when you talk about them. But it really makes you want to keep the ones you understand and have gone through it. People who understand you don’t come along often. Keep them around. Every situation is unique though. You can learn so much about someone from their past struggles. You really understand them. It makes you concerned for them in a way that really touches them. Even if someone doesn’t say how much it means they do really appreciate the concern. Show your concern for another person. Actions speak a million times louder than words. Anyone can tell you they care about you. But it takes a special person to check up on you or who is just there when you need them. Don’t ever lose this person. Also, be this person for the people in your life. You get out of life what you put into it.
Don’t ever forget that tomorrow is not promised to you. You never know when your life will end. Don’t hold grudges. It’s not worth it. So many people regret that they never took the time to make things right until it was too late. Another good saying is, ‘before you complain, thank the One who gave you the breath to complain with.’ Don’t complain about a situation if you don’t like it. Do everything you can to make it right. Nothing is going to change if you don’t make it. You are the change. Don’t wait for someone else. Think about what this world would be like if people hadn’t hated their situations enough to fight for a change. What would your life be like without Thomas Edison? Nikola Tesla? George Washington? Martin Luther King Jr.? People who hate their situation do something about it. You really don’t hate it if you just tolerate it.
This quote is different from the rest, but it’s such a good reminder. It reminds me to always reach out to people and tell them I care. You may never know if you were the reason that someone kept living. This quote reminds me that no matter how hard my life gets it’s not worth the pain I would give to others to end it. If someone ever tells you that they are the reason that they are alive give them the biggest hug you can. Don’t let go of them. If it wasn’t for your efforts, this person would be gone. Remember, you never know who is suicidal. Most people don’t proclaim it to the world. Just be nice to everyone and make an effort. Please. Have you told your friends and family that you love and care about them today? Tell them if you haven’t. Tell them how much they mean to you. Thank them for being there for you. Seriously, sometimes all it takes is one sentence to give someone a reason to live.
Suicide is such a hard thing to think about and it really makes you rethink how you treat people. I have never known someone personally who has done it. I’ve met people who have been suicidal and it’s kind of scary. You think ‘What would my life be like if this person had ended theirs?’ Suicide has really touched my life once. It was a friend of a friend and I didn’t know them personally. But it really made me think. What if I had known this person? Could I have been the person to give them a reason to live? It was such a shock. It made me want to reach out so much more. I never ever want to know someone who had committed it. I want to be the reason for people to live. I want to be so involved with people that they know that they can’t do it for my sake. I want people to know that there are people who care.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this post it’s that I care a lot about people. It’s weird. You realize what is really on your mind when you do stuff like this. If you ever need someone I’m here. I love helping people. Please don’t forget that people will always be there for you. If you think otherwise just ask. Make other people a priority and they will probably return the favor. Be compassionate and kind to everyone. No matter who they are, they deserve respect just for being a human being. Color the world with your life. Leave your mark on it. Be remarkable. Make choices for yourself and not others. But, don’t forget the people who will be impacted by your decision. Just, don’t gossip. Someone’s past doesn’t define who they are today or their future. Tell people if you don’t approve of them. Don’t tell everyone else. Don’t complain. Please, don’t ever consider ending your life. It gets better.
